  • Heather Roberts, DVM


    Dr. Heather Roberts is a native Northwest Houstonian.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in 1998 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2002, both from Texas A&M University.  She has worked primarily in northwest Houston and College Station, Texas, as a small animal practitioner.  Together, she and Dr. Halbrook purchased Cypress Falls Animal Hospital with the goal of providing affordable, quality pet care in an environment that is stress-free for pets and feels like home to their humans. Her primary interests are surgery, dermatology, cardiology and client education.

    Dr. Roberts has one son who currently lives in Denton.  She spends her free time with a variety of projects and interests to include quilting, crocheting, cooking, traveling, camping and hiking.

    She currently has many small rescue dogs. Her favorite aspect of being a veterinarian is experiencing the human-animal bond and finding new ways to teach families about responsible pet ownership.  Her goal is to help people and their pets have many happy, healthy years together.

  • Betty Halbrook, DVM


    Dr. Betty Halbrook is a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Her undergraduate degree is in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is originally from the Dallas area, and has worked in the Houston and Katy areas since graduation. She and Dr. Roberts bought Cypress Falls Animal Hospital in December of 2009. Her interests includes cultivating close personal relationships with clients and pets, internal medicine, dermatology and radiology. 

    Her outside interests include cooking, gardening and fishing. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her three wonderful nieces in Tyler. She has many rescue fur-babies that she loves spoiling at home.

  • Liz Edwards, DVM


    Dr. Liz Edwards graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in May. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, graduating Summa Cum Laude, in 2012 from the same university. Her interests include internal medicine, opthalmology and geriatric medicine. Dr. Edwards has lived most of her life in College Station, but she was born in Germany and loves to travel. In her spare time she enjoys reading, quilting and cooking.

    She and her husband currently have two fur-children: Rosco, a loving yellow lab and Apollo, a very mischievous cat.

  • Carol

    Veterinarian Assistant/Receptionist

    Carol started elementary school and graduated high school in Nederland, TX., with several years inbetween growing up in Eunice, LA. She attended Texas A&M and Lamar University, and then started her family. She lives with her husband, George, in Waller, and has an adult stepson, son, daughter, and 4 young grandchildren.

    Carol currently has one dog named Miles, chickens, and MANY cats. She has always had a passion for animals and has been working with them for the past 20+ years, with 15+ being in the veterinary field.

    In her spare time, Carol loves to read, do crossword puzzles, and just hang out with her family.

  • Cathy

    Practice Manager/Veterinarian Assistant

    Cathy is a native Houstonian and has known from a young age that she wanted to work with animals. She graduated from Texas A&M University in May of 2014 with a B.S. in Biomedical Science. She is currently working on a Master's Degree in Conservation Biology and plans to apply to veterinary school in the near future. 

    Outside of work, Cathy enjoys baking, crafting, reading, spending time with her family and friends, and volunteering at the Houston Zoo. She loves her pets Thunder, a Border Collie, and a kitten named Pebbles. 

  • Cristina

    Office Manager

    Cristina graduated from Texas A&M at Galveston in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology. She worked at SeaWorld San Antonio for 7 years as a camp counselor and animal care specialist. Cristina worked with all the marine mammals in the park, but mainly took care of the health and well being of the bottlenose dolphins, seals, sea lions and otters. When her husband's career took them to Houston she quickly realized that she wanted to continue to care for animals and joined the CFAH family in 2012. 

    Cristina has a son, born in August 2013, and 2 dogs that keep her very busy. She loves everything Disney, and took up running just to participate in Run Disney events. Cristina and her husband love to travel, and can't wait to take their son to fun places all around the world.

  • Tanya


    Tanya is originally from Kentucky and moved to Houston as a teenager. After graduating high school, she went into Printing and Marketing for 20+ years. Tanya then attended nursing school, but decided to use her love and compassion for animals in the veterinarian field. She has learned something new and enjoying every day.

    Tanya has four grandchildren that she adores. In her spare time she loves antique shopping and making something old have a new purpose. Her other interests include going to the gym, scrapbooking, reading, and weekend travel.
